01Technology
Six layers. One signal path.
A signal crosses several layers between the point it is captured and the point someone acts on it. Each layer has one job, and INKATEL designs all of them.
02The stack
Camera to response.
Select a layer to see what it does, what it produces and which systems use it.
01 · Camera / sensor
Observe the site.
- Fixed overview cameras for constant coverage
- PTZ cameras with 20× optical zoom for detail, in the reference configuration
- Acoustic event detection from audio
- IP speakers on poles for voice
Output
Video and audio streams
Systems
03Sequence
From pixel to response.
Follow one incident through the stack as you scroll.
Illustrative sequence · no timings implied
01 · Pixel
A camera records a change in the scene.
02 · Edge
Analytics at the control point check the change against configured event rules.
03 · Link
The event and its clip travel over the network to the local control point.
04 · AI
The system classifies the event and sets its priority.
05 · Command
The operator sees the event on the map with the live camera and the nearest unit.
06 · Response
The operator dispatches the unit over DMR radio and issues a warning through the IP speaker.
04Routing
Two-level routing.
Control points stream to a local control point in real time. A consolidated stream continues to regional command.
05Engineering principles
How the stack is built.
- 01Edge processingAnalytics run close to the cameras, so events do not wait for a round trip to the center.
- 02Hierarchical routingLocal teams act in real time; regional command sees the consolidated picture.
- 03Autonomous operationBatteries, solar power and local recording keep control points working through outages.
- 04Scalable storageReference configurations keep 10 to 30 days of video; capacity grows by adding drives.
- 05IntegrationCameras, analytics, radio and voice share one operational layer.
